My Story

Hi, I’m Emily, the artist behind E.Rae Clay. Pottery is my passion—it’s a process I get lost in, where creativity and craftsmanship flow together. I specialize in hand-building and slab-building, allowing me to sculpt and shape each piece with freedom and intention. Working with clay in my small home studio, I embrace the meditative process of building each piece slowly and thoughtfully.

My faith is deeply woven into my work, inspiring every design and detail. I love incorporating hand-painted and hand-carved elements, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. Whether it’s drawing and carving a pattern by hand or creating my own bisque stamps for texture, I pour myself into the art and craftsmanship of every item I make.

Quality and technique matter to me—the process of creation, the details, and the joy of bringing a piece to life in my hands is where I find my flow. I typically create one piece at a time, ensuring each is crafted with intention, care, and a whole lot of love.
